So, seems I was one of the lucky people to get an N800 developer discount, have used my flat-mate's credit card to order one (Why no debit cards?) and paid the money into his account - All £68.50 of it :) Looking forward to getting one and seeing what it's capable of... Now there's an alarm framework in place, expect to see alarms (and bug-fixes) in Dates in the not too far future, depending on urgency of uni work. Anyway, thanks Nokia for picking me, and of course OpenedHand for giving me the opportunity to get picked.

Could we expect that dates still support 770 ? I don't have plan to buy a new device I and really like dates... (/me cross his fingers)
Crispin Flowerday says:
Be warned, I just got a call from my credit card company saying that the full cost has been deducted from my account. The same thing happened with the n770, hopefully it will all get resolved without having to call them....
Chris Lord says:
Ploum: Yes, I hope that it'll still be feasible to maintain 770 support - Don't count on features like alarms being ported though
Crispin: hmm, I hope that's not the case, I'll keep an eye on it... Thanks!

I got my N800 this morning (the Fedex guy woke me up). I got mine for free, from Nokia directly (in order to write a review for it).
Any comments?
